Dawn Zwibel has served in several different roles during her 21 year tenure in education. She worked throughout San Diego County in the capacity of elementary and secondary educator, assistant principal, elementary principal, and Director of Human Resources. Throughout this time period, she has been grateful and honored to work with a wide variety of students and excellent staff, parents, and community members.
Zwibel has extensive experience working with at-risk students, gifted and talented education, second language learners, and special needs students. She understands the importance of having students engaged in enrichment activities outside of the classroom, and the positive effect these activities can have on the pursuit of educational excellence and life-long learning. Furthermore, she is passionate about working with students who are dealing with adversity outside of school and making sure they stay focused and finish strong in all endeavors!
Zwibel attended the University of San Diego and then went on to earn her M.S. in Instructional Leadership and Curriculum from National University. She is thrilled about serving as a Program Lead for the County Collaborative Charter School and looking forward to working together with staff members, students, parents, and other key stakeholders to build a rock-solid academic program and experience for all students.
